Background

Artemis Art began its gallery operations in November 2011. Wholly owned by Artemis Corporation Sdn Bhd, Artemis Art is the primary business activity for the company.

Our primary focus area is on the promotion of young and emerging artists from Malaysia and regionally, with Indonesia being our main regional focus at present.

Artemis Art is located within Publika at Solaris Dutamas, a niche shopping mall that has become an important hub for art and culture in Kuala Lumpur. We are one of the seven active commercial galleries that operate at Publika, which also houses several artist run pop-up galleries and is the home to mapKL (comprising the White Box and Black Box spaces).

1. Group and Solo Exhibitions Since Artemis Art began operations in November 2011, we have organized and executed over 30 group and solo exhibitions. These have been staged primarily in our gallery space, as well as other areas within Publika, and in collaboration with other galleries and organizations in Kuala Lumpur and Penang.
