Students’ Health• Please keep your child HOME if they are sick! If your
child has flu-like symptoms, they should stay home for at least 24 hours after they no longer have a fever, or signs of a fever, without use of medicines. If they are sick, we will send them home.
• Encourage your child to clean their desk, wash hands, and use hand sanitizer often!
• If your child needs to sneeze or cough, teach them to cough into their shirt or elbow and to use tissues if they need to sneeze.
![Page 21: Back to School Night Welcome to Mrs. Chenok’s Class Room 39 Please set your phones to vibrate. Thank you.](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022062504/5a4d1b517f8b9ab0599a7ac1/html5/thumbnails/21.jpg)
How You Can Help• Check in with your child. • Encourage independence.• Get on Parent Internet Viewer (PIV). Give
yourself and your child access to their grades.
• Set aside a special place for your child to work.
• Encourage your child to take risks. Learn lessons from failure. Our children will never learn to take risks if there is always a negative stigma attached to failure.

FAILURE & SUCCESS• I missed more than 9000 shots in my
career.• I’ve lost almost 300 games.• 26 times I’ve been trusted to take the
game-winning shot and missed.• I have failed over and over and over again
in my life.• And that is why I succeed. Michael Jordan, 1997
