About the Founder

My name is Tyler Nicole Bryant and I am a native of Birmingham, AL. I grew up as an only child in a single parent household with very few positive role models to look up to besides my mother. I am currently majoring in social work at Alabama State University with a mindset that change has to occur within the black community and that change starts with me. I created this mentor program because I want young black girls from poor neighborhoods where there are more teen moms than there are cars in the entire neighborhood to know that someone supports them, and that person is me. I want to be a role model for these girls because I am a walking testimony that because a mentor took the time to lead me in the right path that I was able to excel in anything I put my mind to, and that is what I want to happen for my girls. I chose the baby

doll theme because young girls cherish their baby dolls, and I cherish our young girls as if they were fragile baby dolls.
