Extending a Life Line to Justice The Archdiocese of Milwaukee is sponsoring a parish ministry event
called “Extending a Life Line to Justice” at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton
Parish on February 11. Father Tim Kitzke, Vicar of Urban Ministry,
will be the featured speaker. Topics such as urban ministry,
immigration support, prison reform, et cetera, will be covered by
people at various parishes already active in these areas. The day will
begin at 8:00AM with a light breakfast and will end at 12:15PM.
Online advanced registration is $8 by Wednesday, February 8, or
admission is $10 at the door. See the flyer posted on the parish
bulletin board or on the table in the gathering area. Members of the
Human Concerns Committee are going and we can carpool if you sign
up on the sheet provided. Hope to see many of you there.
A special invitation to volunteers All ministers and volunteers of St. Bernadette Parish are
invited to attend a reception in their honor in appreciation for
their ministries and contributions that enable St. Bernadette to
serve one another and the larger faith community. It will take
place on Saturday, February 4, at 6:00PM, in the parish hall.
This invitation is extended to adults and younger parishioners
who share their gifts and time in parish ministries and
activities. Plan on participating in this special tribute to
ministers and volunteers of the St. Bernadette Parish family.
Please Remember in Your Prayers
We commend to God Agnes Radtke, whose funeral was
celebrated here on January 14. May her soul and the
souls of all our faithful departed rest in eternal peace.
Please remember Agnes and her family in your prayers.

Stewardship Report
Weekend Collection January 14 and 15, 2017
The figures for the weekly contributions were not available at time of publication.
The watchword today is “immediately.” Peter
and Andrew, James and John all respond
immediately to the call of Christ. May I be as
open to God’s call and as ready to use my talents
in His service as those first disciples were!
