Due to the fi ber laser’s shorter wavelength, the
cutting process is performed within a sealed
enclosure. The enclosure automatically closes
upon start of a cutting job and opens at the end
of the cutting operation to allow direct removal of
cut parts.

The Plasma-Jet DSL Compact systems set themselves apart from the Plasma-Jet DSL series by a fully integrated machine frame, that houses all system components, so the machine can be transported in one piece and requires minimum space. Even the small Powermax plasma sources are stored on a shelf inside the frame.
The standard equipment includes the same high-quality components as the larger series: dual-drive bridge, high-quality linear guides, dynamic AC servo-drives, helical gears, automatic torch height control, magnetic cutter head holder serving as collision guard, optimum cutting data preset in the control. These machines provide the same excellent cutting performance as the Plasma-Jet DSL series.
