Billund International airport is the largest in Western Denmark and is at the heart of Billund’s leisure resort. The airport clocked over 50,000 landings and departures in 2013 with over 3 million passengers annually passing through its main terminal 2. Terminal 1 has become a major air cargo terminal with most of the biggestjetsnowabletofly into the airport with its extended runway.

Lalandia with its 850 chalets now has
Scandinavia’s largest indoor waterpark -
a major draw for national and international
visitors. Due to be opened in 2016, the
Lego House, in the centre of Billund is
expected to add another 250,000 visitors**
