Beatrice Gilmore Summer Incoming 3rd Grade Math Activities
Woodland Park used IXL to reinforce our curriculum this year during our remote instruction, and your child will continue to have free access to the online program over the summer. With thousands of interactive skills, IXL is a fun way for your child to keep their learning fresh.
Directions for the summer: By using IXL's Summer Spotlight skill plans, it encourages students to keep learning over the break! Students can review key concepts they've learned and preview topics that prepare them for fall in 1st grade. Please have your child practice their math grade-level standards during the summer using the activities outlined in the calendar. You can go at your own pace, double up on activities, or use the calendar below as your schedule. You can also use it on rainy days or days where the agenda consists of a relaxing day at home! Helpful Rewards: Celebrate success on IXL with fun certificates! They are located on the last two pages of this document.
Please note: If a student has an IEP or 504 Plan directions may be modified accordingly based on the student’s needs. You can reduce the amount of time on the screen and/or change the smart score to 70! If you have any questions, please reach out to
Ms. Calderon at [email protected].
