Ribaya who came home from the US.

On April 13, 2000, Jocelyn Pacyaya came home from Saudi Arabia.

Adelaida Ponting, Lorna Clemente, Marietta Mina, Melchora Pacheco, Marissa Ordonio, Maribel Buen and myself welcomed her.

Gloria Leal from Batch 71 joined us at Solibao Restaurant.

Classmates came together again on May 2000 to extend our condolences to Ma.Louisa Arcilla when her husband passed away. She came home from Saudi Arabia.

August 23,2000 was one stormy day. But when a dear classmate travels for miles, we will brave the rains and the winds to welcome her. So we did with Lolit Baterina. And lots of stories and food warmed our hearts and bodies at Solibao Restaurant.

A handful of classmates gathered at Solibao Restaurant on December 15,

2000 to give thanks to the blessing of being BATCH ‘73. For the first time, Celia Piliz and Nancy Caligtan joined

the group.

At Maribel Buen’s house in Marcoville, Baguio City, from as far as the US, Davao, and Manila, classmates came home for a

reunion and Christmas party on December 28, 2001. Ms. Thelma Leal and Mrs. Ventura

joined us

It was Virginia “Jean” Lazo’s turn to come home. Gloria Mendoza, Marissa Ordonio, Adelaida Ponting, Evelyn Noble, Charito Banez, Bernadette Manikis and myself welcomed her to a sumptuous merienda at Golden Pine Hotel on February 21, 2003.

On March 2003, 3 balikbayan-classmates came home namely Lolit Baterina, Yolanda Manzano and Hilda Diaz. At Golden Pine Hotel, Corazon Nacionales, Maribel Buen, Marissa Ordonio, Lorna Clemente, Charito Banez, Christina Chua, Ma. Mignon Dioquino, Josephine Orap, Ma. Ruth Rodrigues, Bernadette Manikis and myself were there to help the three remember the good old high school days.

PEARL REUNION, Golden Pine Hotel, April 12, 2003 Classmates gathered to celebrate 30 years of friendship since high school graduation. On hand to celebrate with us were Ms. Quipse, Ms. Cordero, Sr. Cecilia, Ms. Ibisate, Ms. Leal and Ms. Corpuz.

A merienda party was held to say “Hello it’s nice to see you again.” to Grace Garcia (seated 3rd from left) who is based in Cabanatuan City and Mercy Tabilog (standing 3rd from left). This was held at Maribel Buen’s house in Marcoville on April 2003.

It was the first time Ruby de Guzman came home to Baguio from the US and is given a warm welcome on a cold December night in 2003 by classmates Jolyna Calub, Mercy Tabilog, Ma. Ruth Rodriguez, Melchora Pacheco, Marissa Ordonio, Edna Villalon & Marietta Mina. We had the party at my place in Bakakeng, Baguio City.
