ORDINANCE NO. 486AMENDMENT TO THE NOXIOUS WEED
ORDINANCEPlease note, that no person owning or occupying any premises shall permit or maintain on any such prem-ises any growth of noxious weeds, nor any growth of grass or other rank vegetation to a greater height than six inches on the average.
It shall be the duty of the owner or occupier of any prem-ises within the Village of Romeo to cut and remove and destroy by lawful means all such noxious weeds and grass as often as may be necessary to comply with the provisions of the Ordinance.
ALL NOXIOUS WEEDS AND GRASS MUST BE CUT BEFORE JUNE 1ST OF EACH YEAR, AND AS OF-TEN THEREAFTER AS IS NECESSARY TO COMPLY WITH THIS ORDINANCE.

The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Alle-giance.The following members were present: Bosheers, Jacobson, O’Leary, Rapp, Richardson, Verellen.
Absent - GrimesThe following ac-tions were taken:- Approved Agen-da, with additions.- Approved fi re-works display per-mit.- Approved 2010-2011 Parks & Recreation, STAR, Tr i -Commun i t y Cable Budgets as presented to the Board.- Amended the 2009-2010 Gen-eral, Fire, Ambu-lance, Improve-ment Revolving, Sidewalk, Cable Franchise Fee, Expendable Trust and Public Em-ployee Health Care Funds as
presented.- Approved March 26, 2010 Accounts Payable.- Adopted 2010-2011 Water/Sew-er and BuildingInspection Fund Budgets.- Tabled the Ad-ministrative As-sistant Positionpending additional information.The meeting was adjourned at 2:30 pm, 3/30/10.
