We’re fully committed to ensuring every employee has the knowledge, skills and experience they need to not only work effectively, but to develop their potential and progress as an individual.

We have a structured appraisal process which places focus on the relationship between the employee and employer. It identifies development needs of individuals and in turn improves the performance of an employee and the organisation as a whole. This appraisal process aligns with the promotional process, which is structured to enable employees to progress through their career.

Secondment opportunities are also available across different teams and our other European offices. This initiative is something we actively encourage, as it enables us to share best practice, ideas and our culture across the Group.

Managers’ Equity Performance Plan

We recognise the contribution of managers to the success of the business. With this success and ongoing performance, we have developed an Equity Performance Plan (EPP) specifically for managers. Under the EPP, managers receive a discretionary contingent award of derivative shares which track the underlying value of the Aztec Group and encourages managers to have a vested interest in the Group’s future success.

We know best practice is built upon long-standing relationships and as a result, we realise the importance of providing employees with the tailored training and development tools to best serve each other and our clients.

This has been achieved through the Aztec Academy, which is an initiative available to all employees, focussing on specialist skills and continued professional development (CPD) tailored to the Aztec Group’s core business model. We deliver a vast range of Group-wide and role specific training in-house, primarily by professional trainers and industry experts. Rather than the usual non-tailored external courses typically provided by companies, the key to the Academy’s success is a syllabus unique to the Group, our industry, clients and employees. With 90% of our employees either qualified or in training we have the right skill-sets to deliver a truly exceptional service.

We offer a wide range of activities with a focus on supporting our employees’ endeavours – so if there is something we currently don’t do, bring it to the table and we’re likely to support it.

In addition to the usual activities driven through our sports and social clubs, we have our staff events, jurisdictional Christmas parties and the annual Aztec Group Summer Party, which brings together all of our employees from across our offices to celebrate the successes of the Group.
