We own a farm with around 120 hectares, located in the Serra de S. Bartolomeu, Cano, in the district of Sousel in the heart of Alentejo. The ones who visit admit that shall remain no doubts about the importance of the culture of the olive grove. The Guardian calls it the new Tuscany.

Cano has a history in the production of olive oil. In the beginning of the twentieth century, the oil from Cano was sold in pharmacies in England. In fact, there is a clear connection between the quality and both natural and human factors of the region, as proven by the recent certification DOP Norte Alentejo.

A Family raised with agriculture

Who we are

On our property we grow two varieties of olives: Cobrançosa and Galega, resulting in a mature and slightly sweet, deliciously enjoya-ble olive oil.

The entire process is done with the intention of obtaining an olive oil of exceptional quality.

The production is made in a mill of the region, located just a few meters from our homeste-ad, which lets you take advantage of the vast wisdom and experience of the people of the region, without neglecting the quality during the whole process.

We maintain a close monitoring of the entire production, where the family is present in all processes, from farm work to the extraction of oil, bottling, marketing and business mana-gement.

It could have any other name, but we felt this project had to have our face and that our Cus-tomers had to feel the same.

Because not only good ingredients are the key to a good product, we believe that the affec-tion that binds us to this project, makes it unique and wonderful.
