What is the Azalea day club? The Azalea day club is an activity-based club for people who have care needs. It gives them the opportunity to have a day away from their home and spend time mixing with other people. It also provides the opportunity of a break for their carer. Who can attend? People with care needs or people who may feel socially isolated and want to participate in some stimulating activities. How will the person coming along be supported? In addition to the activities we will provide all attendees with a meal, freshly cooked on-site and we are able to offer support including: • administering medication • toilet support • transportation (if required) How often does the Azalea day club run? It runs once a week from 10:00am until 3:00pm Music Singing Dancing Arts & Crafts What kind of activities take place? We offer a range of activities. Just a few of the things we do, chosen by the people who come to the club are: • music • singing • dancing • art & crafts • trips out • gardening How do I join?
