Why AXE 810?

Reduces cost of ownership:- maintenance/man-hour costs- less power/cooling- faster installations- more capacity- reduced site rental/purchase costs

Modernization & new interfaces- APG40 TCP/IP to O&M network- ATM link interface (AAL2)- ET155-1 STM1 SDH interface/ET4-1 for PDH accesses

What is AXE 810?

•AXE 810 is the name of AXE version which is available in the market

•AXE 810 is based on a new type of subrack called GEM

•AXE 810 hardware is updated toward a smaller footprint and larger capacity

ET155 Tutorial

ET155 in AXE 810 is a single board which can be used to interface between MSC & BSC or to SDH (Telkom) and many other via optic fibre

Tutorial ET155

• A new board needs to be defined on DBBSC4 for RALT2 devices, this will interface to DBMSC3, with reference to your layout define this board

1. Position 4 & 15 to be used

2. SNT = ETM2-0

Where is the fault?

• Check optics from ET4 to ODF and to the ET155 board

HOW? Optic loops back to the ET155 card – TPSTP:SDIP=XXXX;

• ET155 board does not come up

Replace ET155 board

• Clear active lock - PWFSE:SDIP=XXXX;
