To spice things up
• Started to experiment with IAAS in late 2012 (EC2, S3)
• Solution Architects convinced us PAAS was the way to go – « Automatic » best practices on everything J – RDS, ELB, Availability Zones – VPC (private / public subnets), security groups
• Deep integration between AWS and our web apps – S3, CloudFront, IAM, SES – Cloudwatch, Elastic BeansTalk, auto-scaling
• Today: 2 regions (EU & APAC), 5 VPC, 150 EC2, 20 ELB
