JOIN US FOR AN INFORMATIONAL ONE-HOUR ANTARCTICA WEBINARON FEBRUARY 22 OR MARCH 1 AT 12:00pm CST.

The webinar will be hosted by Anita Root, Go Next’s Product Development Director and two-time visitor to Antarctica. If interested, please email

[email protected] for a digital invitation.

DEAR IOWA VOYAGERS,Explore the far reaches of the earth aboard Albatros Expeditions’ newly renovated Ocean Atlantic. First reached just over one hundred years ago and preserved by the Antarctic Treaty, the seventh continent still embodies a spirit of thrilling discovery—from the abundant and extraordinary wildlife to the craggy glaciers jutting from pristine Antarctic waters.

Spend two days immersed in Argentinian culture with an included two-night Pre-Cruise Program. Travel to Buenos Aires, known for its thriving arts culture, world-class eateries, and nearly 300 theaters. Tour the elegant turn-of-the century districts that earned this city the nickname “the Paris of South America.” Next, fly to Ushuaia, the city at the end of the world; tour Tierra del Fuego National Park and experience stunning views of snow-capped mountains on the far reaches of the Beagle Channel, your gateway to Antarctica. The next day, begin your journey south through the channel. Spend two days at sea aboard the Ocean Atlantic; cross the famed Drake Passage, where humpback whales, petrels, and albatross are commonly seen. Over the next two days, discover the wildlife of the South Shetland Islands, a place known for its chinstrap and gentoo penguins, seals, and unspoiled mountainous landscape. Then, explore as far south as possible on the Antarctic Peninsula where lively penguins, inquisitive seals, and marine mammals flock around you. Before heading back to Ushuaia, pass back through the Drake Passage to cruise past Cape Horn, a legendary maritime landmark at the southern tip of South America.

Enjoy all these adventures and more as we travel on one of the strongest ships operating in Antarctica with an expert team of expedition leaders, unforgettable shore landings, and all onboard dining included. There is no better way to explore the last frontier than aboard Albatros Expeditions’ Ocean Atlantic.

We hope you will join us!

If any doubt exists about the ability of a passenger to accept such conditions, they are advised not to travel on the vessel.
