In addition to the facial pro-cess, you will learn about hair removal of the brows, lips, chin, underarms, bikini, and legs. Theory class includes Anatomy and Physiology, Basic Chemistry, Product Ingredients, Nutrition, Sales, Salon Business, Sanitation, and Disorders of the Skin. These are the fundamentals and essentials that support the practice of Esthetics.

Above all, you will be work-ing towards one goal, to take and pass the NC Board of Cosmetic Arts Practical and Theory Examination. Once you have successfully completed the program and become licensed, the world of Esthetics has many oppor-tunities in the industry waiting for you!

Esthetics is the philosophy that deals with the nature and expression of beauty which results in an artistically beautiful or pleasing appearance.

The Esthetics Program at FTCC combines theory and hands-on practice in a quiet, peaceful spa setting. The majority of the Esthetics Program is devoted to perfecting technique and developing confidence in your work. This course covers all aspects of the facial process to include, but not limited to:
