“My personal experience as a Fulbright Student in Canada was everything I had expected and so much more. I was able to devote nine months to research on a topic I feel passionate about. I had the opportunity to work with prominent scholars in Aboriginal health. I learned about Canada’s diversity and complex national identity. I got to live in beautiful Victoria and explore breathtaking Vancouver Island. Most importantly, I made lasting friendships and professional connections with people who share my passion for improving the health and lives of disadvantaged communities.”
