At that t ime Avon was a big deal but the people I was trying to sell this stuf f to didn’t really buy at mydemonstrations they just came f or the f ree f ood to f ree load, test the products on themselves and then notend up buying a whole lot.

That wasn’t a great way to earn supplemental income because I only made between me and my mother hustlingin the streets of the ghetto of Trenton, New Jersey about $250.

My mother and I worked it like a business at that t ime, keeping account f or all the receipts and taxes as well asorders through my f riends parents who bought f rom me to help me out.

Finally we had enough of selling these Avon products and lef t the Direct Selling industry together to f ocus onselling f ood at the soccer games earning us $4,000 a month.

That is how me and my mom handled this but today had we had all the technology like we have now to reallygive it a go we would be earning thousands each week without hosting one Avon demo.
