Algow group in Jelgava got room right in center of the city. One lady that had second hand shop closed business and offered it to our Aglow leader Daina in the center at picture. In beginning we decide to use room 50 m2 for humanitarian aid distribution. And there was many who was coming after help now from May we start Bible study group and prayer group. Many woman are interested to attend.

Winter is over praise the Lord.And long awaited spring ishere in our country! Pictureabove is from first Aglowoutside meeting, Lasma isholding daughter of womanthat recently joined thegroup.

They don’t have inside toilet, warm water even running water and separate rooms is luxury for them. Only when we all are together we are able help and support.

PRAISE THE LORD HE IS OUR PROVIDER.When Aglow group in village Zalite get to know what happened in Jelgava they decide to pray for the same in their village. And one woman, Ona is her name, decide go to the owner of former kolkhoz garage to ask for building that was empty for last 12 year. Many villagers had asked after that building for their needs and were refused, but now owner offered property for free and sing contract for 20 years. After contract was signed he told that if you will take well care of property he could think to reimburse some expenses for renovation. We can testify that in this time of

Group of Aglow woman initiated newactivities in church in Iecava. Women set uptable, we call it “Samaritan Table”, werechurch people were asked to bring food forthose who are in need.Now every Sunday church members that havejob and or those that have income bring foodfor those that has nothing. One older womanOlga came asking “If I could have a loaf ofbread with my daily potatoes then it’s enoughfor me for week”. She got much more.

One family, were wife is Aglow leader,committed to go for 30 km to bring her tochurch service and than back every Sunday.Other way this older lady can’t attend churchservice. Now we have plans to start thereAglow candle-light group.Many man and woman were blessed by thisnew Aglow activity in Iecava. Other older ladycame asking for small refrigerator, but rightbefore her, there was other woman thatoffered one if somebody need.These activities broth to Christ 4 woman and 2men in past month. We are so thankful for allthat God is doing. God spoke to us that wemust respond to crisis that affects so manyhere. So we encourage ministers to invitepeople gather to get material and spiritualhelp. And they form 3 new groups we callthem Samaritan’s groups were we distributeclothes and other goods that we receive.

This at pictures is Guntis. When he was 16 father told him do not hope for any thing in this life. I had you only as spare child if some thing will happen with your oldest brother he will inherit everything and he is only that I love. Since that time he tried hard but all was in vain. We found him when he was 42 bagging for some coins for alcohol. Sleeping on stairs at apartment buildings. He had wife and 5 children but who would love to live together with such one.

When he came he was complete destroyedand rejected from all sides. After 4 monthsliving in our garden in tent and 7 months inRehab Center now he returned to our town.He still have no place to live and his badreputation still are in relatives mind. But nowhe grew up in Christ. And he has passion toreach for his former alcoholic friends to bringthem to Christ.

We would love to ask every oneto pray for this man while he matures inChrist. While his family is able to see Christ inhim.
