AVISO is an online system developed to promote student success through an automated and efficient system that improves workflow, prioritizes outreach, and personalizes communication between students and faculty/staff AVISO pulls information from Moodle and other college data systems

and puts it all in one place where it’s easily accessible and easy to navigate

How do I access AVISO?

Go to the LenoirCC homepage Log into myLCC using your

Lancer ID and Password A link on your myLCC

homepage will redirect you to your AVISO homepage

from the home screen• Messages

• Send a Message• View message feed• Includes shared resources from faculty and staff

Your Success Team

The primary members of your Success Team are: Your Academic Advisor Provides guidance in areas such as

academic planning, course selection and registration, navigating the Transfer Process, applying for graduation, etc.

Your Success Coach Provides additional support in the same

areas as the Academic Advisor AND assists with overcoming obstacles to success (academic and personal), connecting with outside agencies for added support, setting up tutoring, etc.

Scheduling a Meeting

Use the AVISO Home Screen to schedule a meeting with your Advisor or Success Coach Click this button Follow the step-by-step prompts to

request a meeting Options are available for a face-to-

face meeting, phone meeting, or virtual meeting

DO NOT schedule a meeting with your advisor/success coach during your class time

Your advisor/success coach will receive an email confirming the meeting

Profile Screen• The second tab takes you to the

Profile home screen

• The Profile Screen has four tabs

• Profile

• Courses

• Transcript

• Programs

Profile Tab• The Profile Tab contains the

following information:

• Your student ID

• Basic demographic information

• Your address and phone number

• Your LCC email and personal email

• Your cumulative GPA

• Your academic program of study

Courses Tab• The Courses Tab shows all the courses

in which you are currently enrolled, and includes the following information for each of them:

• Course Name, Number, and Section

• Instructor Name (direct link to email)

• Course Start and End Dates

• Course Meeting Days and Times

• Registration Status

• Course Log-in and Assignment Submission Status

• Current Grades (updated daily)

• Course Credit Info

Transcript Tab• The Transcript Tab shows all the classes

you have previously taken at the college level, the credits earned for each class, and the grade earned for each class sorted by semester and year

• The Transcript Tab also lists the courses in which you are currently enrolled

• NOTE: This is an UNOFFICIAL transcript

• You can also view your:• Current cumulative GPA

• Cumulative Credits: these are credits toward your current degree program

• Cumulative GPA Credits: these are all the credits that impact your GPA

Programs Tab• The Programs Tab shows all of the

academic programs you are currently enrolled in or have completed in the past

• The Status Column identifies whether you are Currently Enrolled in the program (A), Graduated from the program (G), or Changed programs (C)

Messages

On the Messages page, you are able to see your message feed

Send a message to any FACULTY or STAFF MEMBER Messages sent though AVISO will go to faculty/staff LCC email

inboxes as well as their AVISO accounts; messages sent from faculty/staff to students also go to LCC email account

You cannot send emails to other students using AVISO

resources are currently linked to the Resource Guide More resources will be made

available to students through this page as the need arises
