I am currently pursuing my masters in Civil Engineering at University of Illinois at Chicago, with specialization in Structural Engineering. The courses I have chosen has given me a solid foundation in design and analysis of building structures, especially the design of RCC and Wood structures. As my resume reflects, I have gathered nearly one year experience in civil engineering field while working at Vivek Construction Pvt. Ltd. as Graduate Trainee Engineer. During the tenure of my intern, I was relied upon for maintaining inventory levels, performing preventive maintenance checks, inspecting and monitoring work areas to ensure safety, and supervising and training project employees, including in-house, external contractors, and sub-contractors. I had also performed drafting using AutoCAD and handled client interactions. Apart from my work at Vivek Construction Pvt. Ltd., I have a working knowledge of several civil engineering design/analysis software’s like AutoCAD, Micro station, Risa3D, Bentley Staad-Pro, SAP2000 and ANSYS. I had done a project on calculating the heat loss in hollow bridge due to the inner and outer temperature difference using ANSYS software. I also have a working knowledge of computer programming like MATLAB.
