Soundcan be deceiving. Over time, your hearing“ comfort level” adapts to higher volumes ofsound, so what sounds “ normal” can actuallybe loud and harmful to your hearing. Guardagainst this by setting your equipment at asafe level BEFORE your hearing adapts.

5 TERMINATION This Agreement is effective until terminated. You may terminate it at any time by destroyingthe Software. The Agreement also will termi-nate if you do not comply with any terms or conditions of this Agreement. Upon such ter-mination, you agree to destroy the Software.

Parking brake interlockCertain functions (such as viewing of videoimage and certain touch panel key operations)offered by this navigation system could bedangerous (possibly resulting in serious injuryor death) and/or unlawful if used while driving. To prevent such functions from being usedwhile the vehicle is in motion, there is an inter-lock system that senses when the parkingbrake is set and when the vehicle is moving. Ifyou attempt to use the functions describedabove while driving, they will become disableduntil you stop the vehicle in a safe place, andapply the parking brake. Please keep the brakepedal pushed down before releasing the park-ing brake.

Verrouillage par le frein àmainCertaines fonctions (telles que la visualisationd’images vidéo et certaines opérations destouches de l’écran tactile) offertes par ce sys-tème de navigation peuvent être dangereuses(susceptibles d’entraîner des blessures gravesvoire mortelles) et/ou illégales si elles sont uti-lisées pendant que vous conduisez. Pour éviter que de telles fonctions soient utilisées pen-dant que le véhicule est en déplacement, unsystème de verrouillage détecte quand le freinà main est serré et quand le véhicule est endéplacement. Si vous essayez d’utiliser lesfonctions décrites ci-dessus pendant que vousconduisez, elles deviendront indisponibles jus-qu’à ce que vous arrêtiez le véhicule dans unendroit sûr et que vous serriez le frein à main.Pensez à appuyer sur la pédale de freinlorsque vous desserrez le frein à main.

une image vidéo sur un afficheur dans unevoiture est illégal, même s’il s’agit d’autrespersonnes que le conducteur. Lorsqu’il existede telles règles, vous devez vous y conformer.

! Lorsque vous serrez le frein à main pour regar-der une Image vidéo ou activer d’autres fonc-tions proposées par le système de navigation,stationnez votre véhicule en lieu sûr. Appuyezsur la pédale de frein avant de desserrer lefrein à main si le véhicule est stationné enpente, sinon le véhicule risque de se déplacer lorsque vous desserrez le frein à main.

ATTENTIONLa précision/efficacité du verrouillage peut êtreaffectée par divers facteurs tels que la détectiondu signal de vitesse, la détection du signal GPSet les habitudes de conduite ou encore les condi-tions présentes à l’endroit où le véhicule est sta-tionné.

Si vous essayez de regarder une image vidéotout en conduisant, l’avertissement “ Utilisa-tion de la source vidéo du siège avant in-terdite en roulant. ” apparaîtra à l’écran. Pour regarder une image vidéo sur l’afficheur, sta-tionnez votre véhicule en lieu sûr et serrez lefrein à main. Veuillez maintenir la pédale defrein enfoncée avant de desserrer le frein àmain.

Lors de l ’ utilisation d ’ unafficheur branché à la borneREAR MONITOR OUTPUTLa borne de sortie vidéo (REAR MONITOROUTPUT) est destinée au branchement d’unafficheur permettant aux passagers arrière deregarder les Images vidéo.
