BackgroundCITA Aviation Fueling Company was incorporated on 4th October, 2006 and specializes on into-plane fueling.
The company is strategically positioned to revolutionize the deregulated aviation fuel of Nigerian downstream
sector through novel initiatives that are traditionally associated with our versatility.
We maintain the various own depot facilities of the group, the 2,000 MT capacity of ATK in Lagos, 1,000MT in
Port-Harcourt, 1,500 MT in Abuja and has access to over 15,000 MT by virtue of Joint Venture relationship with
JUHI-2 –The second Joint Users Hydrant Installation in Lagos, Nigeria.
Today, CITA is the largest aviation Fueling company in Nigeria.
Our guiding principle is the pursuit of excellence in our
chosen sphere of endeavor. This has been our focus
since the inception of CITA Aviation Fueling Company.
The Company has witnessed a remarkable growth rate
since it commenced operations due to its objective to
adhere strictly to Good Quality Control Practice.
The Company operates 28 refueller trucks and 75 bulk
road trucks to facilitate the distribution of products to
airfields. Four other haulage companies with total of 257
bulk road vehicles are also contracted when needed to
carry Jet-A1 with their certified epicoted trucks.
We hope to be the pre-eminent Aviation fueling Company
in Africa by year 2020 and to establish CITA Aviation
fueling company as a symbol of Quality in the Global
Aviation market.

Bulk Storage FacilitiesWe guarantee that all products received at our facilities comply with international standards with storage facilities at
key airports in Nigeria. We maintain a healthy stock of refined products for Major Oil Companies and Airlines. From
these locations we facilitate distribution to end-users through barges, road tankers and aviation fuel bowsers.

provide an on-airport fuelling service at many top key international and

consultancy services to clients across the globe.
As the specialized aviation subsidiary of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation,

Thomas O. Ogungbangbe (CEO)
Thomas Ogungbangbe was the General Manager-Aviation Business at MRS Oil & Gas, seconded in
2009 to Chevron Oil Nigeria Plc as Aviation Marketing Manager-West Africa and later Group
Aviation Manager-West & Central Africa based in the Lagos Office where he was the focal point for
all aviation fuel work for Corlay /MRS group.
He also led many high profile projects industry groups, serving as a Member, Ministerial
Committee on aviation fuel price & product availability. Thomas was the chairman of the
Management Committee of Joint Aviation Facility in Kano owned by Total, Forte, Oando& MRS. He was also a Management
member of JUHI concourse owned by Conoil, Mobil, MRS, Forte,& Total.
Thomas was a co-founder of SO Aviation (formerly Aviation Air & Land Services) during which he was Managing, Operations&
Marketing Director at different times. His experience with Sahara spanned a diverse portfolio of responsibilities ranging from
engineering, maintenance, marketing and into-plane operations through to strategic fuel procurement, market risk
management and aviation insurance.
Prior to Joining Sahara' SO Aviation, he had a brief stint as the Aviation Commercial Manager of National Oil & Chemical
Marketing Plc (now Conoil Plc) in 2002 and later became the Aviation Operations Manager and National Aviation Business
Manager-Nigeria of Conoil Plc. He championed industry reforms like discharge by meter, & leakage prevention.
Thomas is a scientist by training and also holds an MBA from University of Ilorin, and currently pursuing a doctorate
programme at Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, Scotland, UK. He is a trained IATA Airfield Jet Fuel
Inspector. He is also a board member of the Second Joint Users Hydrant Installation (JUHI-2) owned by (CITA, Ascon,
Technoil, Ibafon, Eterna and Masters Energy).

Ayowale OlatiiluGENERAL MANAGER – Finance & Administration
Mr Ayowale Olatiilu started his career with Gateway bank Plc (now Access Bank) after graduating from
prestigious Yaba College of Technology, Lagos with Higher National Diploma in Accounting. He is an
Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). He holds MBA from
Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
He has extensive and wealth of experience in Banking, Manufacturing and Oil & Gas industry that span
Treasury, Finance, Controls and Audit.
Engr. Betiku, Olasimbo (B.Sc., MBA, MNSE)
GENERAL MANAGER – Operations & Quality Control
Olasimbo Sunday Betiku is a multi-skill Professional Engineer. He graduated from Obafemi Awolowo
University Ile-Ife, Nigeria with Second Class (Upper Division) in Mechanical Engineering. He also holds an MBA
(Specialising in International Business Management) from Lagos State University, Ojo.
He is a registered Engineer with Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and Member of
Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE). Olasimbo who is a trained IATA International Fuel Quality Pools (IFQP)
Inspector, is also a professional member of International Facilities Management Association of America.
He is an Oil and Gas (Aviation) industry champion with professional membership of: American Society of
Mechanical Engineers, Energy Institute of London, and Project Management Institute of United States of
America. He has attended several local and international training.
Olasimbo worked in Conoil Plc, Nigeria as the Head, Aviation Engineering Services.

Olasunkade M. Azeez, FCIPM, FITD SPHR, ACIPD
General Manager – Human Capital
Ola Azeez started his working career with the Nigerian Bottling Company PLC, (Coca cola) immediately after
graduation in 1991 and served the Company for 18 meritorious years in various capacities that prepared
him for subsequent value-creating career path. He was the Plant Personnel Manager for Mushin, Enugu
and Asejire, a Trainer, Acting Sales Manager, Business Performance Management System Specialist and
Corporate Training Manager/Head of Learning Centre a senior management position that gave him the
opportunity to development human capital and organizational capacity of the world brand conglomerate in
Nigeria.
He is joining CITA's Executive Team with close to 25 years of value-adding business partnering experience in
HR, general administration, operations in manufacturing, distilleries, marketing and service industries. Ola
was until his appointment the Head of HR with Dajcom group - Dajcom Ltd and Dajcom Digital, a giant in the
assembling, sales and after sales of electronics - industrial and domestic appliances in Nigeria. He was with
the Lexcel Group between 2009 and 2011 as its Group HR Development Manager. In this capacity, Ola
supports the group in Nigeria and Ghana. He also worked for Multi-Trex Integrated Foods PLC and he
supported the company in Nigeria, Zambia, UK, Netherlands among other countries.
He holds a B. Ed Hons, 2nd Class Upper Division from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, MBA from
Lagos State University, Ojo, Executive Diploma in Human Resource Management from University of Lagos
Consult, Akoka and Post-graduate Diploma in Public Relations from the Nigerian Institute of Journalism,
Lagos.
Mr. Ola Azeez is a Fellow and currently serving as a Member of the Governing Councils of Chartered
Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) and Nigerian Institute of Training and Development
(NITAD). He has attended IATA several conferences and many advanced management programmes in
Nigeria and abroad. He is a multiple awards winning professional for best HR practice and business savvy.

Oboh Matthew (Regional Manager - West )
With over 15 years of experience in the industry, Matthew is a trained product of SHELL/BP in depot and into plane
operations. He started his aviation working career with National oil Aviation Kano before joining Texaco/Chevron
Aviation now MRS Aviation as a supervisor, he later joined African Petroleum Aviation (now Forte Oil) in Lagos.
He proceeded to the United Kingdom for further studies where he obtained a degree in Airline and Airport
Management from West London University and has also attended various Aviation training and workshops
organized by International Air Transport Association (IATA) and American Society for Testing and Material (ASTM) in
the United State of America.
Tope Oyelami (Regional Aviation Manager, North - Abuja)
A dedicated and customer service professional who has HND in Marketing at Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Osun
State, Nigeria and BA (Hons.) in Marketing and Business at University of Abertay Dundee, Scotland, UK. He is an
associate member of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN), and Chartered Institute of Marketing
(CIM), UK.
John Akomolafe (Regional Aviation Manager, East – Port Harcourt)
John Akomolafe is an aviation fuel expert with over 15-year experience . He trained under Shell Aviation in the then
National Oil & Chemical Marketing (Now Conoil). He has B.Sc and MBA with emphasis in Management. John
manages the Nigerian eastern aviation depots in Port Harcourt, Uyo, Owerri, Warri, Enugu and Calabar.
Olumoyin Olubunmi (Technical Manager)
OLUMOYIN Olubunmi is the Regional Aviation Manager, with 8-year experience and training in HSE. He has Master's
degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Lagos and NEBOSH certified in Occupational Health and
Safety. His expertise has been developed in ExxonMobil Aviation.

Research Grant
In furtherance of the company's commitment to industry excellence, it sponsored a research grant , in the
sum of US$100,000, to the University of Ilorin, Kwara State of Nigeria, on Microbial Contamination of Jet Fuel.
This research is of importance and contribution to knowledge in aviation world.
Staff Development
At CITA, human resource is our most valued asset, thus, the company's huge investment in its employees
for a more innovative and passion driven workforce. This informed the company's educational scholarship
to some staff overseas; among such schools is Coventry University, in the United Kingdom.

to its environment. In this wise, it sponsors the education of indigent students, through their secondary

Medical Support
The company supported and sponsored an indigent Nigerian who has medical challenge. CITA is currently
responsible for the payment for his hospital bills at the treating hospital in India.
