The grapes, carefully harvested by hand to boxes of 18Kg, undergo a 24 hour period in a cold chamber. Later, the grapes are pressed slowly at low pressure, only the nectar of "drop“ is harnessed. Alcoholic fermentation takes place partly in stainless steel vats and barrels of 500L, followed by a period on fine lees with frequent "bâtonnage" until early March, during that time the lot, stabilization and bottling of wine begins. Tasting Notes: With bright and clear color, this wine has a great intensity and aromatic complexity and perfectly matches varietal, fresh and fruity aromas with exotic aromas of wood. In the mouth it offers freshness and an excellent texture, finishing long and intense. Pairing: This wine accompanies perfectly traditional fish dishes. Cod and octopus are ideal for Reserva da Familia Alvarinho and also spicy dishes, such as Thai cuisine.
