PROJECT SUMMARYAutomated production lines integrate various mechanical, electronic and software components whose collective behaviour is crucial for proper functioning. To accelerate planning and commissioning and to detect potential malfunctions, said systems are designed and tested virtually. However, available tools are highly individual calling for novel standardized and comprehensive solutions, which was the aim of the project.
