1. INTRODUCTION
This document describes the major items implemented in the new Multifunction Room.
The Multifunction Room (MFR) is composed of: A 9m
by 5.4m Platform at its maximum
Distance between the front curtains: 7.20m
147 seats fix theatre folding seating in a raiser style Professional video projector Full HD + motorized screen on the stage
Black curtains at the back of the stage, covering the entire
wall. They can be open for screening on the white wall.
2 dressing rooms (located in the basement) with audio return from the venue and intercom.
1 washroom for artist (! there is no shower)
A FOH location for Audio and Lighting control, located in the room (open)

The sound reinforcement system is capable of multiple configurations ranging from stereo to Surround 5.1 with
programmable DSP and Dolby/DTS decoder. To help support vocal articulation front fill loudspeakers are built
into the front of the Platform. Subwoofers are located under the Platform. Surround loudspeakers are located
around the room; they can be used during cinema, presentation and live mode. There are multiple interconnections
for the audio and Intercom throughout the MFR. The program sound signal is fed to the paging, intercom, and
hearing assist systems.

3. VIDEO PROJECTION
The Projector is located at the back of the room in an acoustic enclosure with air supply and air return.

4. CONTROL
The Crestron touchscreen is able to control multiple functions of the room with a single touch. The Touch
Screen panel is located at FOH. The control functions are:
• Room mode ( Lecture – Live – Cinema)
• Curtains open and close
• House lights on/off cues,
• Projector ON/OFF, shutter and inputs selection
• Blu-Ray cue and play
• Sound Processors (DSP) room modes
• Screen Up, Down and Stop

The lighting system is composed of a Dimmer rack located in the Dimmer room. All circuits are L5-20R twist
lock. The lighting console is located at FOH. Multiple DMX interconnections are provided.
