We can make Auto tuning for:

1-Field current controller: When the auto tuning is finished successfully

Will affect on [M1KpFex (44.02 ), M1TiFex (44.03) and M1PosLimCtrl (45.02 ) ]

2-Armture current controller: When the auto tuning is finished successfully

Will affect on [M1KpArmCur (43.06 ), M1TiArmCur (43.07), M1DiscontCurLim (43.08), M1ArmLim (43.09 ) and M1ArmR (43.10)]

3-Speed controller: When the auto tuning is finished successfully

Will affect on [KpS (24.03 ) and TiS (24.09)]

Note: The type of the selected auto tuning is detected upon the case we have.

In this report the auto tuning of the armature circuit will be discussed.

Before carrying out the procedure attention must be paid for some interlocks:

1- The main incoming circuit breaker to the panel (H05) must be closed.

2- The motor and the driven equipment must be uncoupled

Note: for our case” the shear”, the uncoupling is done by:

a- Decoupling the motor shaft & the shear shaft

b- The mechanical brake must be released

3- The lubrication unit, the greasing unit & the hydraulic unit which service the equipment must be run.

The procedure of Auto tuning armature current controller is:

1-switch the drive to local mode

2-switch the parameter 99.06 from SERVICE MODE to ARMCUR AUTO

3-there is icon on the drive window program refers to closing the breaker of the shear, this action must be taken.

4- During the auto tuning the speed of the motor will reach to the base speed.

5-The time of the auto tuning does not exceed 2 seconds

6- If the auto tuning fails A121 AutotuneFail is set, repeat the auto tuning procedure
