The York Group manufactures a wide range trailer axles, trailer suspensions, both air & mechanical and distributes trailer components.

York is recognized as a market leader in Asia, Africa and Australia.

• It has over 60 years of experience in designing, manufacturing and assembling axles

and suspensions. • Reputed for flexible design and customization, excellent after-sales service support

and competitive prices. • Products are manufactured under ISO9001:2008 norms • Manufacturing plant India is TS16949 approved. • Axle is made of 3-piece beam, stronger in the spindle/spider fitment area.

• Axle spindle comes with case hardening in the bearing section. • Up to three years warranty on axle beams.

• 1992 - Dutch Lanka Manufacturers Private Ltd incorporated on 2nd November at Gonawala

• 2002 - Registered as BOI Company (i.e. Export Oriented Company) with factory facilities at Gonawala with 50 % BOI obligation

• 2004 – Established Dutch Lanka Engineering (DLE), a 100% subsidiary for servicing trailers from Samurdhi Mawatha near Gonawala

• 2005 - Converted into public limited company

• 2005 - Entered into 50:50 venture with Tata International, TIL DLT was established at Pune, India

• 2005 - Received ISO 9001:2008 certification by Det

• 2007 - Won National Engineering & Technology Award 2007 for excellence in engineering

• 2008 - Established DLT LLC, Oman, at Salalah, for serving DLT trailers and CKD assembly of trailers for Oman market

• 2009 -TRF Limited acquired 51% of Dutch Lanka Trailers • 2010 - DLT moved to Dankotuwa Plant

• 2011 - DLE commenced trailer manufacturing for local market

from Gonawala, service was fully moved to Gonawala

• 2011 - TRF acquired the balance 49% of Dutch Lanka Trailers

• 2012 - BOI tax exception period ended in March; export obligation became 90%
