donkeRvooRtMore than 25 years ago Joop Donkervoort decided to build his own sports car. He started off his car manu-facturing company from his small family home in Tienhoven. A few years later the company moved to Loos-drecht, where most of the cars have been built. In 2000, a beautiful modern production facility was realised in Lelystad from which we develop and assemble the cars, from the chassis to the last detail of the car. In the past 25 years, up to 1,000 cars have left the factory. In 1996 we started a co-operation with Audi ; a beau-tiful marriage, that gives us the possibility to build a car using one of the most reliable, most powerful and compact engines on the market.

A Donkervoort is the ultimate deal for the real car enthusiast, that wants no compromise in driving pleasure. We make our cars ultra light and in combination with tremendous power and superb road holding character-istics of a racing car, we have created the car that make the hearts of many car lovers beat faster. Today’s Donkervoort has without any doubt moved on from the very first models; our continuous efforts to achieve better quality, combined with modern and attractive styling have led to the current D8-series. The ultimate in sports cars, created for the real car enthusiast.

evolutIonThe Lancer Evolution (colloquially known as the “Evo”) is Mitsubishi’s flagship sports car. Based only on the unibody of the domesticated Lancer sedan the Evo is a rally inspired, turbocharged, all wheel drive, durable and finely tuned automobile. The number designation of the model is most commonly a roman numeral. Evo-lution models prior to version V were the officially approved models for Mitsubishi’s efforts in the World Rally Championship’s Group A class and SCCA Pro Rally Championship. In order to follow these rules, the Evolution is based on the same platform as the Lancer, but is much more powerful and the only major part in common between the Evo and the Lancer is the unibody. Ten street versions of the Evolution have been produced from 1993 up to today. Evolution versions VI, VII, VIII, IX and X did not need to meet WRC homologation require-ments.

supRAThe Toyota Supra was a sports car/grand tourer produced by Toyota Motor Company from 1979 to 2002. The styling of the Toyota Supra was derived from the Toyota Celica, but it was both longer and wider. Starting in mid-1986, the Supra (in its third generation, MKIII) became its own model and was no longer based on the Celica. In turn, Toyota also stopped using the prefix Celica and began just calling the car Supra. Due to the similarity and past of the Toyota Celica’s name, it is frequently mistaken for the Toyota Supra, and vice versa.

The Supra also traces much of its roots back to the Toyota 2000GT with the main instance being its engine. The first three generations were offered with a direct descendant to the 2000GT’s M engine. All four genera-tions of Supra produced have an inline 6-cylinder engine. Interior aspects were also similar.

In 1999, Toyota ceased sales of the Supra in the United States and in 2002 Toyota officially stopped produc-tion of the Supra in Japan.

volk RACInGVolk wheels uses hot forging that is a process to form metal lines with volume distribution that corresponds to a design shape of a billet aluminum alloy. The forging of rays wheels starts with this kind of hot forging. RM forging a method developed exclusively by rays is a process to spin a uniform structure with fine metal flows formed by hot forging. A RM forged rim is thinly formed by cold spinning, a high speed spinning machine can form rims of varied widths. Then the wheel goes to the solution heat treatment, its rapidly heated with thermal treatment and then fits to form a strung structure. Then the VOLK Wheels go into a age Treatment when they are kept at low temps for long periods of time. Then they go off to the standards dept to be checked and then off to finishing to get painted. There is a ton more that goes into making volk wheels so check out the video on the site to give you a better idea. The Volk Racing TE37, CE28, GTU, GTM, Time Attacks are all made with this process.Volk offers many racing wheels for the STI, EVO, 350Z, RX8, Supra, G35 and many more. xkR-sBased on the XKR, the XKR-S is the fastest production XK to date. With recalibrated engine management, the XKR-S reaches an electronically limited top speed of 174mph (280kph) – 19mph (30kph) faster than the XKR. This additional performance is made accessible by improved aerodynamics (reduced drag and lift) and sus-pension set-up.

The high performance braking system for the XKR-S was developed by Jaguar’s Special Vehicles team in part-nership with British competition brake specialist Alcon.

The limited edition coupé is identified by the unique XKR-S badge on the rear of the car. The exterior of the XKR-S has been subtly enhanced to make it recognizably different without being overstated. Another signifi-cant element in the revised handling package is that the ride height of the XKR-S has been reduced by 10mm compared with that of the XKR.
