program overview:

In the Automobile Experiential Learning Program Europe, you and your fellow participants go on an exciting road trip that covers eight cities in three top engineering countries in Europe: Germany, Austria and Italy. You will look behind the scenes of world-renowned car and motorcycle manufacturers, automotive parts suppliers and visit two start-ups, which are highly involved in the electric mobility sector. Besides meeting managers and staff members of top companies, such as BMW, Porsche and Lamborghini, you will dive into the local cultures through selected cultural activities and enjoy special Welcome and Farewell group dinners. Discover the Berlin Wall, learn about Oktoberfest, take in breathtaking views of the Austrian mountains and prepare authentic Italian pizza from scratch. Moreover, we will take advantage of our time on the road and let you experience what it means to become an entrepreneur through our so-called "Start-up Challenge" projects.

the “Start-up Challenge“ projects explained:

Together with your international engineering peers, you become short-term entrepreneurs and learn how to turn your teamʼs business idea into an actual product or service. Two certified professional trainers from People & Friends offer you and your team members guidance and support when you work on your "Start-up Challenge" projects. In 5 highly interactive workshops with People & Friends, you get introduced to state-of-the-art tools and methods to equip you with an entrepreneurial skill-set and more importantly mindset. On the last day of the program, it is time for you and your team members to present your project results to a jury in form of a pitch* and the winning team takes home a fantastic prize. Upon completion of our program, you will have what it takes to open up your own business venture (perhaps after graduation). *a pitch is a short and concise presentation, in which you try to convince your audience of your idea c
