Automatic Insulating In-Line Oil Tester DTA 100 E-AD

The DTA 100 E-AD is designed to measure the electric breakdown strength of liquid or gaseous insulants fully automatically. It is used in conjunction with a personal computer and the DTA 100 E-AD control software package from BAUR. Measurement routines are executed in accordance with the selected control program and the selected test standard.

• Electromagnetic screening - nearby electronic appliances are not affected by any interference

• Lockable protective hood for maximum user safety

• Quick breakdown detection and current break time < 1 ms. Avoids formation of fibres or carbonation of mineral oils

• Selectable test voltages up to 100 kVrms

• Self-test after each switch-on

• Printer log for evaluation of measured data

• Hermetically sealed design resistant to pressure, vacuum and temperature for carrying out flow type oil tests (also available as a transportable cell)

• Adjustable electrode spacing

• Exact setting of electrode spacings in conformance with the standards (without touching with a check gauge) by means of a built-in vernier and electro-acoustic zero spacing control

• Simple rinsing of the test cell by key-operated triggering of a solenoid valve

DTA 100 E-AD - measurement set-up:

All the measurement and control functions are performed by the personal computer with the DTA 100 E-AD control software package from BAUR. This user-friendly measurement program offers the following selection of measurement functions:

F1 withstand standard test F2 automatic standard test F3 single standard test F4 single test F5 options (select language, input report data, printer) F9 terminate (program exit)

The required parameters (e.g. test standard, mean value pre-set, etc.) are entered in the respective submenus. A connected printer enables evaluation of the measurements and test data after completion of the measurement routine. Fully automatic control of a regenerating system In the measurement functions F1 (withstand standard test) and F2 (automatic standard test), the solenoid valves (MV1 - Fill, MV2 - Regenerate) of a regenerating system are controlled automatically during a measurement routine.
