Can-Am offers four types of automatic guns,

which are used in stationary or robotic conditions,

plus one hand spray gun. The guns can atomize

paints at 0.1 to 8.35 psi, spray 10 cc/min to 36

oz/minute at very thin to very high viscosities at

conventional production speeds, while saving 30

to 60 on paint usage as compared to conven-

tional air spray guns or compressed-air-powered

HVLP regardless of manufacturer.

Vordson Corp. Amherst Ohio

Nordson’s patent-pending Kinetix spray systems

optimize the key mechanics of spraying-electro-

static power, air energy, fluid pressure, and dy-

namic motion-to deliver superior application on

a variety of substrates, coatings, and part profiles

with educed waste and improved finish quality.

Operators benefit from improved control and ease-

of-use, which translates into superior transfer ef-

ficiency, painter productivity, and safety. The

complete line of Kinetix systems feature air spray,

airless spray, air-assisted airless, and HVLP tech-

nologies for automatic and manual applications.

The Binks MACH 1SL HYLP spray gun operates

at high transfer efficiencies in compliance with the

California South Coast Air Quality Management

District regulations. Made of a lightweight, rug-

ged, aircraft-grade forged-aluminum alloy body,

the MACH 1SL features a slim grip to fit hands

comfortably. Designed to stand up under hard,

continuous use, the MACH 1SL can operate from

a 15 to 5-hp air compressor. Cost-efficient com-

pressed-air consumption ranges from 8 to 22 scfm

depending on operating pressure. It operates like

a conventional spray system utilizing compressed

shop air. Other features include stainless steel

fluid passages, nozzle and needle for waterborne

compatibility; cartridges with self-adjusting pack-

ing; oversize air and fluid control knobs; and pat-

ented variable air flow within the gun body.
