Cargo grade for each tank can be selected by name from the expandable list of frequently carriedcargoes. That instantly brings up cargo properties such as API gravity and VCF.Changing temperature of cargo in the table automatically updates its API gravity, VCF and thedependent parameters.

Autoload uses absolutely accurate methods of determining cargo quantities that are based on theexact 3-dimensional geometry of tanks and take in to account current ships heel and trim.

Tanks with the same cargo are automatically grouped and presented with secondary tabs on theright side of the table. Totals of different grades of cargo are shown on these tabs. With that functionthe user can effectively monitor and manage OBQ of various grades of crude and products onboard.Cargo Database

Autoload provides facility where the user can enter and edit properties of frequently carried cargoes: Name; Type of cargo - Crude Oil or Generalized Products; API Gravity or Density at standard temperature; For non-petroleum products a range of VCFs at different temperatures.

The user doesnt need to remember what tables to use for cargo calculations. It only takes selectingthe name of cargo for a tank in the Tanks Table. Then Autoload uses genuine ASTM formulae toaccurately determine VCF of crude oil and petroleum products at observed temperature and all therelated parameters.

Its operation is based on true 3-dimensional model of ship and internal compartments. That deliversaccurate calculation results and enables 3-dimensional visualization of the ship and cargo during theplanning process.Due to its modular structure SPS can be configured for virtually any type of ship. Putting togethercombination of modules makes SPS perfect stowage planning tool for multipurpose ships.SPS is most suitable for installation on board the ships as a part of loading computer software and in

shore based operations where the ships particulars and documentation is available well in advancebefore commencing the cargo planning process.Through the years in operations SPS has gained reputation and popularity among the ship plannersand deck officers in the most prominent shipping and stevedoring companies all round the globe. With continuous development of advanced functionality it maintains its position as the leader amongthe ship planning and loading computer software on the market.

    Highlights of SPS

Graphical User InterfaceThe most remarkable characteristic of SPS is its graphical capability. Extensive use of computergraphics presenting cargo items of various shapes in their exact stowage positions on the ship inschematic and 3-dimensional isometric views, simple and intuitive ways of stowing and movingcargo around with drag-and-drop function is the hallmark of our ship planning software.Modular StructureDifferent types of ships require different methods of cargo planning and style of stowage planpresentation.Modular structure of SPS allows tailoring it to wide array of ship types and cargoes: RoRo; container;heavy lift and project cargo; bulk (dry and liquid); break-bulk; open hatch; tween deck, and anycombination of the above ship types. The programming modules exchange data in real time, making the process of planning multipurposeships smooth and hassle-free within one software application. To learn more about SPS please examine some of the solutions clicking on the respective links atthe side bar menu.SPS can be connected to Autoload, the most advanced stability analysis software, which provides

real-time accurate feedback on ships hydrostatic parameters and floating status in the process ofload planning. Combination of SPS and Autoload makes it perfect loading computer system for useon board of any type of ships.

Click the link to read more aboutAutoload stability module ScalableThe modules of SPS can be deployed as stand-alone applications on individual computers. At thesame time the entire software system can be installed on the networked computers throughout youroffices and integrated with your in-house information system bringing ship planning and cargo dataprocessing on one software platform.Voyage scenarioThe functioning of SPS is built on the concept of total voyage scenario. That means the user canplan not just one port condition at a time, but optimize utilization of cargo space and ships capacitythrough the entire voyage. As additional benefits to that SPS provides:

ability to instantly switch from one port condition to another to make fine-tuning of the plan; automatic update of the stowage plan when switching from port to port; automated control over possible stowage conflicts in the future or previous ports safeguarding the

user from unexpected nasty surprises; possibility to plan and control cargo re-stows and shifting.

Drag-and-drop stowage methodThe main method of stowage planning in SPS is dragging the cargo in graphical plan with the mouseand dropping it in the desired position. In the process the program renders the cargo 3D geometrybased on its dimensions.

Unlike many other loading computers on the market, Autoload does not rely on pre-calculatedhydrostatic data from the ships Loading Manual. Instead it uses the true 3-dimensional model of theships hull and internal compartments in combination with the hull form based calculation methods toobtain ships floating status and hydrostatic parameters. The same methods are used to produceapproved stability booklets.

The adopted calculation methods allow Autoload to provide very accurate results not only when theship is in normal operational condition, but in a damaged condition and/or a condition withabnormally great heel or trim when the accurate and reliable results are needed the most.

In addition to the generic functionality applicable to all types of ships Autoload can be configured toassist in load planning and cargo survey onbulk carriersand tankers. Click on the links in the leftmenu bar to learn more.

SPS modulesconnected to Autoload compliment it with additional graphical cargo planningfunctionality specific to different types of cargo and crane operations.

Autoload has type approval from all major Classes and has been installed on more than 1000vessels. Among them are very unique and complex vessels such as semi-submersible heavy liftships. M/v Blue Marlin and the oil rig Thunder Horse shown on the picture used to be the biggest
