This page displays an overview of quota authorizations already performed, if any. Scroll down the page to access the "MAKE AN AUTHORIZATION" button.

This button only appears if the organization is in possession of quota that can be authorized

1. Fill in the details of the quota beneficiary.

Ask your beneficiary for these details if not known. The ID is found on the first page when entering the F-gas Portal.

Issuing Authorizations as a New Entrant

Quota holding companies are divided into incumbents and new entrants. Both types of companies can grant an authorisation, but new entrants must also physically sell the corresponding amount of gas when the authorisation is made (which is not the case for incumbents). The new entrant or its only representative, in case of non-EU companies, must provide proof that this has been done (Article 18(2)).

By clicking the SUBMIT button, the authorization is submitted to the Beneficiary for review and confirmation.

Please follow the previous steps until page 8 to reach the quota authorizations page and click the yellow buttons to view details or accept the authorization.

Verify all details provided and choose to accept or reject the authorization.

You can provide additional comments.

Your most recent authorization will be displayed in the last row. Its status will change to VALID once issued.
