National Health Workforce Taskforce

COAG has agreed to an investment of $96m in clinical training in Simulated Learning Environments (SLEs)

NHWT will develop a national strategy to complement and maximise existing effort and investment

Stage 1: Australia wide mapping of the current SLE programs and planned

future programs. This will include an assessment of ‘SLE readiness’ of particular sites.

Stage 2: Development and establishment of new centres and programs and

the re-development of some existing environments.

11

Another important body of work:

Certification of simulation programs - CateMcIntosh working with SSH.

Certification of simulation instructors – Katie Walker working with SSH.

Can these be implemented in Australia?
