Toowoomba Street Art

Toowoomba has some of the most amazing street art in

Australia, with well over 20 murals scattered through out the

city. They have been painted by renowned artists such as

Adnate, Fintan Magee and Claire Foxton to name a few.

Yelarbon Silo Art

The Yelarbon silos were painted by Brisbane based artists

Brightsiders, completing stage one of the eight silo group in

July 2019. They depict a small boy and his paper boat playing

in the Yelarbon Lagoon. They are the 31st to join the ASAT.

Goondiwindi Water Tank Art

The Goondiwindi water tank depicts a water scene showing the

wildlife that lives beside the McIntyre River. In the native

Bigamgul language, Goondiwindi means a ‘Place where birds

rest’

Thallon Silo Art

The Thallon silos were painted by Joel Fergie & Travis Vinson

in July 2017. Depicted on this silo titled ‘The Watering Hole’ is

the Monnie River, two Rosellas, sheep and a stunning Thallon

Sunrise. They were the 10th to join the Australian Silo Art Trail.

Cunnamulla Water Tower Art

During the April and May of 2019 Guido van Helten painted

both the Cunnamulla and Charleville Water Towers. As neigh-

bouring towns in a remote area of Queensland costs were com-

bined in the hope that two towers would bring in more tourism.

Charleville Water Tower Art

The youth of Charleville are the feature on this silo which was

painted by Guido van Helten in his now signature

monochromatic mural style. It is a sister work of art the

Cunnamulla water tower which was also painted by Guido.

Wandoan Water Tank Art

The Wandoan water tank was Painted by a group of artists

sometime in the 90’. Different sections by different artists.

Thallon Water Tank Art

The Thallon water tank art is located behind the Francis Hotel

in Pine Street. They were painted by Joel Fergie & Travis

Vinson during their stay in Thallon in July 2017 when they

painted the local silos.
