The Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) Chapter of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists, in association with Animal Emergency Services, is hosting a day of practical wet lab workshops for ECC practitioners.
Supported by Boehringer Ingelheim EPV Medical Plus, this workshop provides a world class opportunity for hands-on training in:
CPR (RECOVER Certified)7am-12pm ACVECC supported evidence – based veterinary CPR guidelines published by the RECOVER Initiative aimed at equipping participants with concepts and techniques in Basic Life Support (BLS ) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) reinforced through scenario-based simulations. Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) including Focused Assessment with Sonography for Trauma (FAST)1pm-6pm Created as a triage screening test by human trauma surgeons in the 1990s, these are now an essential part of everyday ER veterinary practice.
