Authority/Regulatory Body: Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) for Australia & Ministry of Economic Development (MED) for New Zealand

Marking of Certification Logo required: Yes, RCM mark Validity Period of Certification: No expiration

Local Representative: Yes In-country Testing Requirement: No, FCC / R&TTE-D test report is acceptable but can vary based on product specification. Even when submitting FCC and/or R&TTE-D test reports the device must comply with AS (Australian Standard). Language Requirements: English Estimated Lead Time: 2 - 4 weeks Additional information: If the local representative is the member of Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI) or Truck Industry Council (TIC) and the equipment is supplied as an integral part of a vehicle, it is exempt from the procedure.
