Yes, I have loved art since I was young and I enjoy teaching children art .

How long have you been doing art?

I’ve been teaching art for 31 years, and took art in high school, as well.

Have you ever seen famous art?

Yes, I’ve seen many. One of my favorites is “Starry Night” by Van Gogh.

What do you love to paint?I like to use acrylics and watercolors.

What do you do when you’re not creating art?Spend time with family and biking.

How long have you been playing tennis?I started playing tennis in the early ‘90s. Played when I was younger, too.

What do you like doing aside from art and playing tennis?Going to art shows and the beach.

Do you have a child?Yes, she is a freshman in college.

What is her name?Kendall, 18-years old.

Atlanta BravesThe Braves are in it to win it this

year. Recently acquiring Shane Green, a reliever from the Detroit Tigers, he was just what they needed. He was the main piece for the Braves in a great trade deadline. They are seven games in front of the Phillies and Nationals. Ronald Acuña, Jr. recently hit his first career walk off, which was a double in the bottom of the tenth against the Cincinnati Reds. The Braves are in a playoff run.

Freddie Freeman, Josh Donaldson, Ozzie Albies, and Ronald Acuña have been leaders. Nick Markakis and Dansby Swanson are currently hurt so those are two pieces that was need back before the playoffs. The Braves are in good shape to succeed.Atlanta Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons are about to start their season. They have returning players such as Matt Ryan, Julio Jones, and Devonte Freeman. They recently lost 14-10 to the Denver Broncos in the Hall of Fame game in Canton, Ohio. Ohio. The Saints are going to be the team to beat in the NFC South. The Falcons must beat the Panthers and the Bucs to be successful. We hope for the best for the Falcons this season.

College FootballThe Georgia Bulldogs and the

Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are the teams in Georgia that are in the Power 5 (Big 10, SEC, PAC12, ACC, Big 12). The Georgia Bulldogs have been ranked in the top 5 in the past three years and have made it to the National Championship. The Jackets are not as good as they have not been in the top 10 in the past three years. The Dawgs are looking to make it to the National Championship.

Atlanta United

Atlanta is currently (as of August

12th) is in 2nd place behind

Philadelphia. Josef Martinez is having

another incredible year with 20 goals

in 22 games. Atlanta United has 42

points with 13 wins, 9 losses, and 3

ties. Atlanta United is looking to

repeat last year with an MLS

championship.

The Georgia sports teams are

looking up as they either start the

playoffs or are starting their season.

We hope for the best!

The History of Spider ManBy: Ford Hill

In 1962, Stan Lee (AKA the creator of all Marvel) and Steve Ditko created the best superhero of all time (in my opinion): Spider Man! When the first Spider Man comic came out into stores it went viral. Everyone loves Spider Man!Spider Man/Peter Parker is a high school student and lives in Brooklyn with his aunt.

Sadly, Stan Lee died during the making of Captain Marvel (2018) as so did Steve Ditko. But, we still remember we still remember them as the creators of Spidy. Villains have been part of super-heroing for a long, time. Spider Man villains include the Green Goblin, Vulture, Sandman, Electro, and Venom. What’s a super hero without super powers? Peter Parker’s powers are super stickiness, super strength, super spider senses, and slinging webs.

These are some Spider Man movies. Spider Man (2002), Spider Man 2 (2004), Spider Man 3 (2007), The Amazing Spider Man (2012), The Amazing Spider Man 2 (2014), Spider Man Homecoming (2017), Spider Man into the Spider – Verse (2018) and Spider Man Far from Home (2019). There will be many more Spider Man movies to come. I hope you enjoyed reading about the history of everyone’s favorite web-slinging superhero.

Love at First Fight

One day on planet Zodak, Princess Gamora and her people were about to go to war with planet Earth. “Zodak FOREVER!!!” she said when the army opened the gates to fight for their planet. On the other side of the galaxy on planet Earth, a brave hero named Zack was on his way to Zodak for the war. When both planets got to the location of the battle, (Pluto), Zack and Gamora saw each other for the first time and they instantly fell in love.Suddenly, chanting from both sides started and the war began. After three grueling hours of fighting, Gamora and Zack were left of the planet. They came closer together, and then they kissed and a glowing golden light was swirling around them. “I love you more than anything in the world, Gamora! Let’s get married,” Zack said, as he stared at her. “I love you with all of my heart, Zach, and I will gladly marry you tonight,” Gamora said. Later that night they were married.

Step 1: Wake up (duh). I wake up when I my owner, Flounder, makes waaaaaay too much noise!! He needs to BE QUIET!!!!! He is capable of being silent while singing Taylor Swift songs.

Step 2: Eat MY breakfast and then Flounder's breakfast. And yeah, he yells at me every morning. I eat my favorite cat kibbles (which Flounder hates.) Once he decided to try it and spit it out on my face. I got angry but let it go. Then he did it again and I decided to attack. Flounder tries to eat toast with strawberry jelly. Yum.

Step 3: Listen to Flounder yell at me for no reason. Why would he yell at me? I am an ANGEL!! Then hide under the couch, singing: Dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dundun dun duuuuuuun!

Step 4: Wait there until mean owner leaves for work. His work is going beep boop beep boop on his phone at an office called FedEx or something like that.

• Step 5: Come out and start feeling bad for your owner. He is a human, after all, and humans aren’t very smart. I mean…I’m smarter than Flounder, but I would never tell him that because that would break his little, tiny heart. Um, nevermind! I don’t feel bad for him.

•Step 6: Go up the stairs and walk into the room with the big white thing, also known as the bathroom.

• Step 7: Grab the soft white stuff (toilet paper), rip it into shreds, and place the pieces all over the house. Oh yeah! I’m making a mess!

• Step 8: Go back downstairs and get the flowers from the vase … and spread them all over the house. (The vase may receive SOME damage during all of this, but that doesn’t matter.)

• Step 10: Wake up after hearing Flounder screaming my name. Uhh, be quiet once in a while, boooyyyyyy! Flounder gets back from work around 4:00PM.

• Step 11: Run back under the couch and panic. Mainly because he brought out his vacuum and not because of yelling. OMC (Oh My Cats), Flounder is so annoying!

• Step 12: Bedtime for kitty. This is around 9:00 PM. I would go to bed earlier, but Flounder usually has a date with his girlfriend. (How a girl could like him is a mystery to me.)

• Step 13: Wake up at 2:00 AM and start yodeling lessons. This is every single night. I want to be a professional yodeler when I grow up. Then I go back to sleep.
