Auroral Precipita.on and HIgh La.tude Ionosphere Electrodynamics (AURORAPHILE) (Leads: R. Robinson, Y. Zhang, B. Kosar) Working Team Goals To establish quan/ta/ve means to measure the accuracy and reliability of modeled proper/es of the auroral ionosphere, including par/cle precipita/on, conduc/vi/es, electric fields, neutral winds, currents, and Joule hea/ng. Working Team Deliverables The working team will establish a set of proper/es that describe the state of auroral par/cle precipita/on and electrodynamics, and then quan/fy the accuracy and reliability currently achievable using a combina/on of data and models. Parameters that specify the auroral ionosphere will include both local and global quan//es.
