Words may inspired but only action can changeGlobal Village

MyLDS 2015 is kick started with the global village where it is a showcase of differentdiversified culture around the world. Exploring uniqueness of different country, travelaround the globe just in a day!

Understanding and knowing about others in terms of culture, demography, language, food and much more.

World and AIESEC

There was a black tunnel with world’s history pasted inside. It was inspiring as we get toreflect and learn from the history itself. Further, there were few sharing from alumni onAIESEC Malaysia’s history. 47 years of Journey was indeed touching and meaningful. Allthose hardships motivate us to treasure on what we are having right now.

You only live once!My Big Why

Many questions thrown at us:

Why are you here?

What do you see when you are 75 years old?

What are the achievements you are proud of?

What are the happy moments in your life?

What have you regretted for not being able to do or achieve something in your life?

All these questions made us to reflect on own self as well as be aware that we should be doing something meaningful in our lives and have aim in our life. Not only that, knowing our personal values is important too.

Connecting the Dots

The key learning of this session is connecting actions with your goal and your ideas.Team work is essential in achieving life goals as well. Always do not lose your aim andpurpose in life.

Life is a matter of choice. Stay positive! Why GCP and Why GTP

This particular session highlights the flow of exchange programs and the proceduresbehind it. This is to induce the importance of the exchange programs and also selfawareness on the roles in our department.

What’s my Unique Role

Each departments are actually inter-related, thus teamwork and communications is veryimportant. For example, when you come up with an idea, is how you convince otherswith it and also at the same time compromises with others opinions and listen to them. After the discussion, every members should be happy with the conclusion made.

This made us to realize the importance of our role in our department.

We were inspired, and got to know the importance of our role as a youth in developingour country. No matter what you do you cannot be worse than what is being done rightnow. Do not afraid to make the first move. It takes more than ten years to grow and builda person’ characteristics. There is no time better than now. Young people drive thechallenges and shape the future of nation. Start making changes.

What skills and characteristics should a youth have for nation development?

Compassion, kind and responsible. Reading is crucial, it keeps your mind fresh! Throughreading book you can understand the author’s mind and thought. Besides, we should dothings with a purpose.

Engage

The workshop partners engages with youth leaders to provide new perspective andinsight relating to the forum theme and its respective industries through workshop andconversations. We had the chance to know what are the expectations and the professionthat the companies are looking for. We have learnt that, before applying for something,we have to know what our target needs.

Act
