Legacy at Park Crescent, will

be hosting a variety of

different activities that you

won't want to miss. We plan

to take a pirate theme lunch

boat cruise on the Colonial

Belle in Fairport on the Erie

Canal. For all the Buffalo Bills

fans,we are visiting the

training camp at St. John

Fisher College, so grab your

fan gear and let's go! 4One Quartet from Michigan will be here

performing for their first time. We are going to Signatures for

Dinner and our 2nd lunch will be at Curly's in Buffalo after our

Extraordinary outing to the Botanical Gardens. For all of you who

are baseball fans, we are going to Frontier Stadium for a Red

Wings game! For our Pottery lovers we're visiting Splatters pottery

in Spencerport for an afternoon of craft therapy. This month we're

celebrating National Senior Day with our Hawaiian Luau party on

the patio, so get your Hawaiian attire ready for a day you won't

forget!

Water helps the mind so book a beach

vacation or plan a weekend road trip or

hike to to a waterfall, it's worth spending

some time and money to get a real dose

of nature once in a while. You'll invite

those feelings of awe that can improve

our well-being and make us more

prosocial people. It's amazing the extent

to which water, something we overlook

completely in our day-to-day lives, can

have such a positive effect on our health

and well-being when we pay it the

attention it deserves. Please join

our Concerts by the shore every

Wednesday nights at 6:00p.m. You will

experience it for yourself how being

around water will help increase better

sleep, mental energy, feelings of

wellbeing and decreased depression.

Path to Well-Being

Our Hawaiian themed lunch at the Pelican's Nest was a great time,

spent with a wonderful group enjoying the beautiful weather on the

river. The residents enjoyed dressing up with grass skirts and Hawaiian

leis. It's always a great time with residents, being by the water. The scenery

was beautiful with boats and yahts passing while having lunch. There was

a variety of lunch choices for everyone! This month we will be going on

the Colonial Belle in Fairport on the Erie Canal for our pirate theme boat

cruise on August 8Th. If you are interested in learning about the history of

how the Seneca Land became the Erie canal join Simon (the Spencerport

Museum Director) who is thrilled to come and share his knowledge and

history on August 13Th.
