In less than a half hour drive from Newhaven you can take in the magnificent views at the stunning Seven Sisters Cliffs or be dining at restaurants from some of the UKs best chefs in Brighton. The South Downs National Park is your back-drop to the stunning coastline, with even more of the great outdoors to discover.

To reach unspoilt views of the Seven Sisters, Seaford Head Nature Reserve is even closer to Newhaven, and provides picture perfect views of the cliffs and the Belle Tout Lighthouse.

Vanguard Way may end in Newhavenbut the 66 mile route takes you through open countrysideand woodland into East Croydon, south London, withgreat views and crossing two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

A259 A slice of French lifeUnique to Newhaven is the journey across the Channel via the ferry to Dieppe, still running since 1851 and always providing the perfect day trip to France.
