Messenger Extra, August 2015 A publication of the Maple Lake Messenger - Distributed to 5,000 area homes & businesses

    Apollo Glass is something of

an institution in this area, hav-

    ing served the communitys

glass needs for more than two

    decades, from the same location

    at 400 Seventh Street Northeast

in Buffalo, as always, and now

on the Internet with a Website

    and Facebook presence, as

    well.

    Equipped with knowledge

    and experience, Apollo Glass

    has earned its reputation for

    reliability, quality work and

    customer satisfaction. That rep-

    utation continues to grow

    among local drivers, homeown-

    ers and businesses, as Apollo

    Glass handles the glass repair

    and replacement needs of all.

    Jeff Rubertus has been oper-

    ating the shop since purchasing

the business in 2006 from Don

    Kramer, who started Apollo

    around 1998. A Delano resident

    raising two daughters with his

    wife, Sherri, Rubertus says he

    originally started out in glass

with his father, who owned a

    glass company in Olivia. Today,

he offers a variety of services,

    from auto glass to commercial

    and residential work. In recent

years hes also expanded opera-tions to include construction

    and installation of custom

    shower doors. And, as always,

    A ll Gl t d b 100

    Auto glass

    Technicians at Apollo Glass

    can repair or replace wind-

shield, side door or back glass

    on foreign and domestic cars,

    trucks and vans. They offer

same-day service and a full war-

ranty, and Apollo works with all

    the insurance companies, too.

    Drive-in or mobile service

and a loaner car are available,

and free pickup and delivery, if

    needed. For customer conven-

    ience, Apollo Glass offers

    mobile service in spring, sum-

mer and fall, and a loaner car is

also available. In winter, as tem-

    peratures can interfere with the

    repair process, Rubertus said he

likes to get a vehicle into his

    shops climate-controlled envi-

ronment, fix it and bring it back

to its owner, at no extra charge.

    Residential Glass

When glass breaks, it can cre-

ate safety and security concernsat the same time. Children, fam-

ily, friends or pets could be atrisk of serious injury, and the

home may no longer be secure.

Trained specialists at ApolloGlass will repair or replace inte-

rior and exterior glass, doors and

windows. And whether itsscreen and repair, replacement

of broken window glass, doors, mirrored walls or a fogged insu-

    lated window, Rubertus said,

Apollo Glass can do it all. If youcant see through a fogged win-

dow in your home, he added, histechnicians can replace the glasswith high-quality insulated

glass, with no need to restain orrepaint after the job is complete.

    AUTO GLASS REPLACEMENT

    Custom shower doors,

    mirrors

Apollo is also proud to offer

    custom shower doors.

    Renovation is very big right

    now, Rubertus said, and bath-

rooms are a big part of that

    business. Apollo Glass techni-

    cians can custom-build a shower

door to fit any opening size, and

    installation takes a single day.

As a custom shower door can

be the focal point of your bath-

    room, Apollo Glass presents a

    complete shower door show

room, featuring a wide range of

    styles, from the traditional

framed model to the elegant and

    simplistic frameless. Or, if you

    prefer, browse online by visit-

    ing Apollo Glass on Facebook

    or at apolloglassinc.com.

As lot of thought goes into a

    new or remodeled bathroom,

    Rubertus noted that by talking

to Apollo Glass during the plan-

    ning stages, homeowners can

better ensure the end product isjust the shower door theyve

    always wanted. Professional

    advice in designing a shower

    enclosure before construction

    starts can eliminate many poten-

    tial problems, he explained, and

    accurate measurement is a criti-

    cal part of the process.

    Commercial glass

    Apollo Glass offers light

    commercial glass replacement,

    including storefront window and

    door glass.

A storefront is key to any

    entrepreneurs success, and

    Apollo customers can depend on

the replacement of their glass in

a timely manner, with no inter-

    ruption to daily business.

    Rubertus employs two certi-

    fied glass technicians and said

hes proud of the team hes

    assembled. With over 100 years

    combined glass experience, he

    added, his employees are well-

trained in all aspects of the

    industry.

    Along with our reputa-

    tion, he said, our employees

    are our most valuable asset.
