Following his lead, and inspired by this month’s membership campaign, here are my Top 10 reason to be a member of the Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce. 10. Focused Advocacy: Working with elected officials to assure that we sustain a business-friendly, globally-competitive government, you add your voice to the democratic process. 9. ROI: Studies of chamber membership indicate that your return-on-Investment is estimated to be anywhere from 3x to 10x, depending on your engagement. 3. Just-in-Time Information: The Chamber’s flow of information – from social media to training programs – provides every business with useful tools and tactics to improve the bottom line. Plus, even the display racks in the Chamber’s offices are great for learning new things about our regions. 2. Regional Leadership: You have the opportunity to spread your leadership wings through committees, the board of directors, training, and much more. The Young Professionals Leadership program may be the most recognized program, but there are many other options. And, the #1 reason: 1.
