Summer Jammin’at PBS39!
With the dog days of summer upon us, PBS39 invites
you to enjoy these fading summer days in style. In
particular, we are thrilled to host TeleBear’s Summer
Jam on the Air Products Tell Me More Stage at
PBS39, August 10th -14th from 2:00pm - 4:00pm.
Held in conjunction with Musikfest and sponsored by
great community partners, Air Products and UGI,
TeleBear’s Summer Jam features acclaimed
children’s musicians Kira Willey, Key Wilde & Mr.
Clarke, Dave Fry, and more. Children and families can
sing, dance, and create make-and-take art projects.
And, of course, we will be joined by the one and only
TeleBear. More information can be found at

Events like TeleBear’s Summer Jam require a great
deal of community support. This month, we provide
you with opportunities to make a difference when
our latest collection of special programming begins
on Monday, August 22nd. We will be going live at
8:00pm with Dr. Anthony Youn, who will be
presenting his program The Age Fix, followed by a
live presentation of Ed Slott’s Retirement Roadmap
at 9:30pm. Join us for these and other unique
opportunities to show your support for PBS39.
As August 25th marks the 100th Anniversary of the
National Park Service, PBS39 will air Ken Burns’
National Parks: America’s Best Idea, Tuesdays at
8:00pm beginning August 2nd. Other programming
highlights this month include Indian Summers,
returning Friday nights beginning August 5th at
9:30pm. Once you’re all caught up with Season 1
standby for the exciting Season 2 premiering in
September. Also, the premiere of Inspector Lewis
Season 8, Wednesdays, beginning August 10th at
8:00pm. Watch for more great programs, from
dramas to music, throughout the month. Enjoy!
