In addition, the UNM Los Alamos Library offers SBDC Clients print resources, access to online databases and web sites. This includes the Small Business Collection, the Small Business Resource Center, Business and Company ASAP, Business Insights: Essentials, Business Plan Guide, and Business and Human Rights Resource Center. An SBDC Client can also make an appointment with the Los Alamos Small Business Development Center to have an advisor assist in conducting market research and analysis with these resources. The SBDC at UNM Los Alamos has made arrangements with the UNM Los Alamos Library for Off- Campus Access to Online Resources for SBDC Clients. Two parts are teaching sessions (August 13th & 20th) of three and a half hours each. The third part is a “QuickBooks Extra” exercise to be completed by participants between the two teaching sessions. There are two objectives: First, to teach participants how to use the basic functions of the program. Second, to create confidence through usage and to explore unfamiliar functions. The course includes a free reference text, to help with the transaction entry and the “QuickBooks Extra”.
