Volunteers leadhikes on ourbeautiful island.Meet your hikeleader at 9:30 amin front of theFerry Building atthe end of CenterAve, downtown.Check theschedule insidefor dates,
destinations, anddifficulty levels.

You may participatein these hikes at yourown risk and shouldbe aware of dangersin the wilderness andyour own limits.
Only select trips witha level of difficultyyou can manage (# 1is the easiest level).
Let the trip leaderknow about any prob-lems you may have.
Children are welcomeif accompanied by aresponsible adult andif the trip is not toostrenuous (e.g. # 1
type hikes).
Dress appropriatelyfor Kodiaks cool andwet climate. Carry raingear and use the lay-ering principle. Weargood quality water-proof hiking boots.
Bring a snack or sand-wich, water, camera,and binoculars toenjoy the wildlife and
the glorious vistas.
