Audio/Visual Rack ASRII series

Made of an aluminum and cast iron hybrid design, this rack maximizes the characteristics of each of these metals.A decade from our �rst AS series, the ASRII series has arrived as a fresh evolution over its predecessor.The rack's lightweight and elegant design was made possible thanks to the lightweight and strength of aluminum, as well as its properties that enable aesthetic �nishes. Various parts of this rack incorporate damping technologies that TAOC has developed over the years to ef�ciently absorb and adjust vibrations inside and outside of the rack. This is a new approach to tone enabled through the marriage of the magni�cence of aluminum and clean resonance of cast iron.

The shelf boards are made of a 5-layer sandwich construction consisting of a newly developed honeycomb core �lled with cast iron powder, high-density woody �berboard, and hard melamine.

● Frame colors come in either Black Metallic or Silver Metallic, and are also available in our new color Pearl Crystal Shine White (by special order). (Poles come in the same color for all frames.)

● Shelf board surfaces are �nished in reversible colors so that you can use both sides of the boards (half-matte).

TAOC has always produced racks that focus on creating good audio. And now, the MSMKII/MSR series AV racks take TAOC racks to another level. Its design was based on the concept “vibration control” TAOC’s damping technology elevates the performance of AV equipment to higher dimensions and produces beautiful sound with excellent resolution.

● The shelf boards are made of high-density MDF (density: 0.72g/cm3) which delivers excellent rigidity and vibration absorbing properties. With a sliced oak veneer �nish for a natural feel, and an elegantly sculpted form, these racks o�er excellent load capacity of up to 100kg per shelf that is more than su�cient for housing heavy weight amps.

● The black aluminum support poles are �lled with special damping material for improved damping performance.● Its legs come standard with large cast iron spikes.

Vibration damping performance has been improved dramatically thanks to a special coating that contains metal powder.

<Molded maple> This is a new, 100% wooden material for audio applications.Our special process for blending, into a single piece, hard maple (speci�c gravity: 0.70g/cm3) which is a heavy and hard material that improves the high and mid ranges, with Japanese ash (speci�c gravity: 0.68g/cm3) which is a resilient material that improves the low and mid ranges. The resulting material enhances audio quality over all ranges, something that is not possible using only one type of material. The blended material is then compressed under high pressure to increase its speci�c gravity to 1.40 (g/cm3) to give a sense of density to the sound.

Place the spike on the bottom for better seating and stability.
