Retrofit LED License Plate Lights

Before After

1. Remove the light houses from the car. The screws are very fragile. New screws do

not come with the new light houses.

2. Remove the inner plastics in the boot.

Open the boot and remove the plastic covers. The wholes can be used very well

as a handles when you need to pull off the trunk plastics.

3. Remove the two torque screws highlighted with red. It is done easily by sitting inside

the trunk with your legs outside and then pulls the trunk towards yourself.

4. It is now only clips holding the trunk plastic in place. Use the handles from picture 1

and pull it down. You might use more force than you like, but it will come off.

You can remove the entire plastic by un-mounting the corners.

5. Mount the cable between the light houses and the original cable in the car.

This is also done the best way by sitting inside the trunk with your legs out and pulling

the trunk cover towards you.

6. Install the new LED lights.

Test that both are working and that there is no warnings in your D.I.S.
